Hillary and Cameron’s wedding at Grace Restaurant highlighted the best of Portland, Maine. From their first look at Ocean Gateway, portraits around the Old Port, City Hall, and Grace’s iconic red door and fresh oyster bar… this wedding had it all. Their unique and heartfelt ceremony under the stained glass windows had everyone (including me!) feeling the love, and perhaps shedding a few tears. Guests enjoyed fresh seafood and amazing bites from the famous kitchen at Grace and the evening concluded with dance circles and killer moves.
I love spending a few minutes with all the pretty things so I can get creative and capture those little details you worked so hard to bring together. Placing the rings on top of your invitation is a fun way to bring a personal touch to your images.
I get by with a little help from my friends… <3
Is there anything better than the joy of a first look? This emotionally charged moment is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day.
I’m in love with these little moments that happen when you aren’t looking at the photographer. Dreamy.
After this series of bridal party portraits, don’t you want to jump in and be friends with this crew? I know I do!
In case you are worried that doing a first look will take away from the ceremony, just look at this photo. Even if you saw each other earlier, there is nothing like that moment when the music is playing, your friends and family are watching, and you see your beloved coming towards you.
Grace is such an incredible and unique space for a wedding. These enormous stained glass windows are an incredible canvas for a ceremony.
