Colony Hotel Wedding

June 23, 2018

This Colony Hotel Wedding in Kennebunkport, ME was a classy event with the best after party. Ana and Agustin (remember their engagement session?) celebrated their wedding day on the coast of Maine and embraced the coastal chic vibe. I am in love with Ana’s timeless satin gown and Agustin’s tuxedo jacket. This was the biggest bridal party I have ever worked with! I had to stand quite a ways back to fit all 23 bridesmaids, bridesmen, and groomsmen in one epic shot. Having so many friends by their side is such a testament to love this couple has to share with the people who mean the most to them.

Don’t you just want to live here? I’d love to move in.

When a gown is too heavy or too incredible to hang, I like to lay it flat on the bed to photograph. You’d never know from this photo that the train was still being steamed!

I love hanging out with the bridesmaids while everyone is getting ready. These girls had the best matching pajamas (seriously, where can I get a pair?) and were having so much fun together.

The moment you put on the gown is the moment it gets real. I love the quiet, calm expression on Ana’s face as she takes in her reflection.

Bridesmaid first looks are the best!

Agustin looked so handsome as he hung out with his friends on the veranda. His dad helped him with his tie and I’m so glad I caught this sweet moment.

This old church feels like a trip back in time!

We braved the rain for this epic exit! I’m officially obsessed with ribbon exits and want everyone to do one.

Ana and Agustin, you two are so loved! Look at that crowd!

The Colony Hotel is the epitome of old-school, elegant New England. I love the dark wood and rich jewel tones inside.

You are a beautiful bride.

I spy the reflection of a photographer who didn’t realize it was mirror! Haha!!

Uplighting can change the vibe of an entire room. This room made an awesome first impression and wowed guests as they entered the reception for dinner.

I wish I could say more about this moment between Ana, her sister, and her mother, but words have failed me. There is so much history in the moment and so much love between these women.

Time to get this party started!!!

This was a party that kept getting better and more wild! What an amazing night.
